Bringing you the best in retail therapy from around the Bay.

Lauren and Josh Podoll, the designers and co-founders (and husband and wife!) behind women's clothing line The Podolls, have opened a Noe Valley retail shop. Their first location in Burlingame opened in 2013, and the 800-square-foot SF space, complete with a kids' playhouse for multi-tasking moms, is a dream come true for the duo—not to mention an excellent addition to the city. Visit them at 3985 24th Street or at their flagship at 251 Primrose Road in Burlingame.

Houston jewelry designer Rannie Balias is bringing her "Sparta meets art deco" jewelry line Chrisrann to Little Paper Planes at 855 Valencia Street for a trunk show on Friday, March 13 from 6 to 8pm. Joining her are the clothing designers behind Evens, a line of clothing made mostly in or near Houston and designed to last a lifetime. RSVP here

Rare Device in Noe Valley (4071 24th Street) is hosting SF children’s clothing brand Leitmotif for a trunk show on Saturday, March 14, starting at 10am. All art- and literature-inspired Leitmotif pieces are designed, printed, and made in SF. Plus, Rare Device and Leitmotif are hosting a book drive at both Rare Device locations to support the Children’s Book Project. Bring a gently used children’s picture book to donate anytime this week to the Noe Valley shop, or to 600 Divisadero Street.
