<p>Anisa Esmail is a writer, fashion designer, and abstract figurative painter based in the Bay Area. Her work explores fashion, art, and queer culture through storytelling. Born in Alameda County in 1992, she currently lives in Oakland and works in San Francisco. Her artwork has been exhibited at Bass & Reiner, Southern Exposure, and Root Division.</p>
