New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and there’s no better way to end 2013 than with a memorable and delectable meal. We’ve rounded up some of the restaurants in the city to toast at with menus so tasty you’ll want to eat here every night of 2014. Make your reservation before it’s too late!



Ichi Sushi

Welcome in the New Year with the ICHI crew as they celebrate their last NYE in their original location. The pre fixe menu features seafood, oysters, nigiri, celebratory small bites and a sparkling toast. Two seatings, $120, additional $35 with sake pairing. Reserve at 415-525-4750

Abbot’s Cellar

Abbot’s Cellar has designed two special three-course and five-course tasting menus with optional beer pairings. 3-course menu $55/ $75 with beer pairing, 5-course menu $75/ $95 with beer pairing. Reserve here or call 415-626-8700

Foreign Cinema

Bring in the New Year with Foreign Cinema’s Polynesian themed “Sexy Tiki” dinner and party. Dinner is comprised of a four course celebratory menu. There will also be live music and a screening of Elvis in “Blue Hawaii” during dinner. 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., $95. Reserve here or call 415-648-7600


One Market

End the year with a bang with Chef Dommen’s NYE menu featuring steak tartare, grilled rack of lamb, braised veal osso buco and oysters on the half shell. Plus, at the late seating, you’ll be able to enjoy the fireworks right outside the window. Two seatings: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. $80, 9:00 – 10:30 p.m. $125. Reserve here or call 415-777-5577

CHAYA Brasserie

Join the New Year’s Eve by the Bay celebration at CHAYA and enjoy panoramic views of the Bay Bridge and the city’s firework display. The night includes a live performance by “Perdidos” and various dining options. First Seating: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., three courses, $85. Lark Creek Steak

The special NYE menu is served a la carte and includes filet mignon tartare, baked oysters, baked salt-crusted whole sea bream, whole baked Maine lobster, and a selection of steaks and sides. Reserve here or call 415-593-4100

Millennium

One of the city’s best vegan restaurants will be offering a five-course celebratory menu with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine upon arrival. 5:30 - 10:00 p.m., $95, additional $35 wine pairing. Reserve at 415-345-3900x10

Quince

Party it up at Quince. The restaurant will have a live band and dancing and a festive six-course chef’s tasting menu complete with a few surprises and a champagne toast at midnight. $295. Reserve here or call 415-775-8500

La Folie

You can’t go wrong with La Folie’s main course: Roasted Veal Chop with caramelized root vegetables, salsify, aged port Madeira sauce and winter truffles. The second seating includes a champagne toast as well as passed hors d' oeuvres and petits fours. Two seatings: 5:30 - 6:00 p.m., 5 courses, $150, additional $70 wine pairing. 9:00 p.m., 6 courses, $250, additional $100 wine pairing. Reserve here 

Baker and Banker

The five-course menu from Baker and Banker offers oysters, caviar, Maine lobster risotto and venison tenderloin. Seatings from 5:30 - 10:00 p.m. $125, additional $65 wine pairing. Reserve here

Roka Akor

New Year's Eve at Roka Akor comes with oysters, tiger prawns, Wagyu beef and a whole bottle of bubbly to share. There will also be a DJ and a midnight toast. $178. Reserve here 

Hakkasan

Hakksan will be offering a special seven-course meal featuring Australian lobster, baked black cod, steamed red snapper, Mongolian grilled lamb, and wok-seared beef tenderloin with optional wine pairings. $135 without wine. Reserve here 

Radius

Chef Wittek of Radius has put together a 4-course tasting menu including a delightful amuse-bouche, a sparkling midnight toast, and the choice of Liberty Farms Duck Breast or Schmitz Ranch Shoulder Roast of Beef. $80, $65 if seated before 7:00 p.m. Reserve here or call 415-525-3676

SPQR

SPQR will host a special New Year’s Eve dinner with a nine-course tasting menu with optional wine pairings. $148 excluding wine. Reserve here or call 415-771-7779

A16 San Francisco

Send 2013 off right with A16’s six-course a la carte menu. The holiday menu will include pork belly, baked ricotta, and lobster diavola. $95, additional $75 with wine pairing. Reserve here

Presidio Social Club

Complementing the standard options at the club will be an additional menu of holiday favorites such as oysters, lobster, caviar, and champagnes. There will also be a live band.
