Why: The Pacific ocean makes its theatrical debut!

Car-topia in Jack London Square

What: Dozens of classic, exotic, old school, new school and muscle cars and trucks head to the Oakland waterfront for an auto extravaganza complete with a DJ and awards.

Why: There’s something on four wheels for everyone, from car buffs to casual enthusiasts.

What: The Thing Quarterly is popping up between this weekend’s two art fairs—stARTup and Art Market at Fort Mason—for a tailgate cum literary trunk show complete with fresh pancakes and Ritual Coffee.
