Chef Ron Siegel Announces Parallel 37, Nob Hill's Newest Eatery

By

One of San Francisco's most accomplished chefs, Ron Siegel (he was the first US citizen to ever win Iron Chef!) will helm the kitchen at Nob Hill's just-announced, highly anticipated new restaurant Parallel 37, inside The Ritz-Carlton. True to its name–its inspired by the geographic latitude running near the San Francisco Bay Area–the spot already prides itself on a menu chock-full of locally sourced ingredients as well as sustainably produced wines from Sonoma and Napa.

The hungry hordes can expect to enjoy simple and approachable prepared in the same style that made Siegel a world-renowned chef. “I want to create a dining experience where the food is not over-manipulated,” says Chef Siegel. “Simple and delicious American contemporary cuisine served in an energetic and inviting space with only the best handpicked ingredients.”

Apart from the wine program, Parallel 37 will house a bar with a mixologist-driven program, small bites and a lounge perfect for relaxing with friends in a lively setting. Parallel 37's new interior, by EDG Interior Architecture + Design, brings an urban edge to this Nob Hill luxury hotel. The bar and lounge area will seat 46, and a chef’s table will open off the kitchen for a fly-on-the-wall view of all the action.

All these big changes will come to fruition in December of this year–just in time for lavish holiday meals and drinks sipped in a cozy atmosphere.
