Friday, Dec. 7
Enjoy live music and great food while browsing through unique crafts at the fourth annual Gift Bazaar. Each gift and raffle ticket that is purchased will support La Cocina, a non profit that helps low-income entrepreneurs in the community. Highlights of this year’s event include seasonal cupcakes, Tamale Alley, paintings by food illustrator Maria Schoettler and Clairesquares’s famous Brandy Butter, available only during the holiday season. Saturday, Dec. 8
Join the Old World Food Truck at the Coffee Bar Saturday and Sunday night to experience holiday dishes inspired by Jewish culture. Sunday, Dec. 9
Bring your best hat to Nick’s Cove Holiday Hat Brunch and dine with Bay Area radio personality Jan Wahl. Prizes will be awarded to the best hats and guests will enjoy bottomless mimosas and a three-course brunch and dessert. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Ritter Center of San Rafael, a critical safety net for the homeless and working poor. Enjoy a Catalan-inspired holiday luncheon held in the sparkling wine caves of Gloria Ferrer. Guests will enjoy a traditional spanish feast prepared by Chef Chris Dressick of The Station, after a private winery tour and a performance by Sol Flamenco. Join world-renowned chef Joanne Weir at the Commonwealth club as she discusses her latest cookbook, Joanne Weir's Cooking Confidence: Dinner Made Simple, in-conversation with SF icon, Chef Gary Danko. Kara’s Cupcakes is featuring a new cupcake flavor, chocolaty chocolate peppermint cupcake, to benefit Raphael’s House of San Francisco. They are also doing a sing-along giveaway in their 12-days-of-Christmas countdown, that is running from Dec. 13- 24.In that time, Kara will be posting the specific song lyrics that people must sing at a bakery on Facebook and Twitter.
