TWIRL AND DIP OPENS BRICK AND MORTAR IN POTRERO HILL

The beloved soft serve truck Twirl and Dip is graduating from Golden Gate Park institution to a brick and mortar establishment, and hosting an ice cream party to celebrate. Owners Meg Hilgartner and Siri Skelton will open shop next week at the Onyx building in Potrero Hill. Like the truck, their new location will feature a fully-stocked ice cream parlor. DAY OF THE DEAD FESTIVAL AT CALAVERA

To honor Dia de los Muertos, the Calavera team is putting together its first Day of the Dead celebration featuring a rotating menu of special moles from Oaxaca, a mezcal happy hour, ancestral cocktails, and even an altar paying tribute to the late Tejano singer Selena. With 4-5 different moles offered every night, you won't want to miss a single day of this two-week festival. LAZY BEAR HOSTS GUEST CHEFS FROM MISSION RESTAURANTS

Lazy Bear, known for its seasonal, multi-course dining menu, will be hosting "New Kids on the Block" this month, a guest chef dinner series benefiting the Agricultural Institute of Marin. Lazy Bear chef, David Barzelay, will be joined by fellow Mission chefs Val Cunto from Californios, Brett Cooper from Aster, James Syhabout from Hawker Fare, and Richie Nakano to contribute one hors d'oeuvre and up to two courses each. TRES TEQUILA LOUNGE & MEXICAN KITCHEN CELEBRATES 10 YEARS WITH DIA DE MUERTOS PARTY

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of San Francisco favorite Tres Tequila Lounge & Mexican Kitchen. PACIFIC COAST BREWING COMPANY UNDERGOES A REVAMP

After going through an intensive renovation, Pacific Brewing Company is back and better than ever. They've remodeled their space to include outdoor seating and a patio fire pit as well as given their food menu a makeover.
