Records may be broken tonight at the Giants game, and they don't have to do with baseball. SF Appeal has alerted us to a tribute to the 15th anniversary of the Grateful Dead'sJerry Garcia's death, in which over 7,000 kazoo-ists will congregate tonight at AT&T Park to blow "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the 7th inning stretch in an attempt to score a spot in the Guiness Book of World Records.

The kazoo orchestra, conducted by Dead drummer Mickey Hart, is part of the team's Jerry Garcia Tribute Night, which is a star-studded dream for Deadheads and Giants fans alike. The national anthem is being performed by Bob Weir, Phil Lesh and Jeff Pehrson, and Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia cover bands will be playing before the game (versus the Chicago Cubs) begins. Members of Jerry Garcia's family will even be throwing the first pitch!
