Oui, chic is the word that best sums up the vibe and clothes currently taking up residence at The Bar Code. The month-long Ba&sh pop-up features the Parisian label's bridal capsule, where shades of white and ivory take effortless, elegant form. Dresses made for walking down the aisle run the gamut from classic sweetheart bustier styles to mod minis with '60s flair to beachy/bohemian lace looks.

You'll also find skirts, tops, jackets and trousers for all the moments leading up to and including The Big Day—think bachelorette party, shower, rehearsal dinner, reception, and after-party.

Nary a nuptial on your calendar? Not to worry—all these modern whites are closet staples appropriate for virtually any occasion. Plus, a smattering of the brand's signature insouciant printed dresses will be on hand, as well.

​Smells like spring. Celebrate with fresh, genderless scents from Lumodos.

When it comes to life, we're all about common sense. When it comes to fragrance, however, common scents are a hard no. Enter our latest favorite uncommon discovery: Lumodos. The year-old niche fragrance brand from San Francisco husbands Lester and Peter San Luis keeps it simple but bold, understated yet beautiful, minimal and complex, luxe and sustainable.

The introductory Scentient Collection includes six unique fragrances "that capture some of life’s most defining moments…of love, courage, happiness, self-trust, renewal and freedom." Each fragrance is vegan, mindfully crafted without harmful chemicals like parabens, sulfates and phthalates, and has corresponding candles and reed diffusers.

So what do they smell like? The sextet includes everything from fruity and white florals, to citrus-y and gourmand-ish to spicy and amber woodsy. Honestly, you just have to spritz for yourself. (The Exploration Kit includes all six samples for $28, a cost you can apply to a purchase of any full-sized $125 perfume.)

​Cuyana's April Fool's campaign? A breath of fresh air.

Whether you love 'em or hate 'em, April Fool's shenanigans were everywhere on social media. We're mostly agnostic on the jokey memes, but Cuyana's version made us click…and think. On April 1st, the sustainable SF leather and clothing brand launched the world's first true zero-impact collection called Made With Air. It's described as an absolute essential to your everyday life…reaching new heights of radical transparency, etc.

When shoppers tried to add pieces to cart, they encountered a pop-up window bearing this message: "Did we get your attention? You have just experienced greenwashing. As you may or may not have discovered by now, the product you have chosen to view does not exist. It is not possible for fashion pieces to be made with air."

Customers were then directed to a link to find out why the brand chose to create the campaign.

Not gonna lie, we were so looking forward to trying on those light-as-a-feather designs. But, of course, we appreciate the humor while highlighting an important issue—especially during Earth Month.
