Beats & Botanicals Dinner


Rich Table is hosting a three-course dinner tonight (Monday) in collaboration with Ford's Gin and music producer Dan The Automator. Prepared by chef de cuisine Brandon Rice, the meal is themed around Chinese-American cooking with family-style dishes including soft shell crab lo mein, General Tso chicken seasoned with Ford's Gin, and more. Dan The Automator will be performing a specially curated soundtrack of unreleased tracks as well as hip-hop and crowd favorites. A Taste of Banned Countries

James Beard Award–winning publication Roads & Kingdoms is bringing it's Banned Countries Dinner series to San Francisco on Tuesday. In honor of Iranian cuisine and culture, R&K will host a supper along with Yasmin Khan, author of The Saffron Tales, at Blue Plate. We All Scream for Upcycled Ice Cream

SF's newest ice creamery Salt & Straw is debuting flavors this month that bring attention to food waste—did you know that an estimated 40 percent of food goes to waste in America? S&S' Rescued Flavors is a collaboration with the local nonprofit Food Runners, which works to save leftovers all over the city. Model Bakery Opens Mini Model in Yountville

Model Bakery, home of those famously fluffy Oprah-approved English muffins, has opened its third outpost in Yountville. Lamb Jam Is Baaaaack

Tickets are now on sale for the 8th annual San Francisco Lamb Jam, next month at Spark Social SF.
