This Black Friday, stay out of the malls and step into the woods.
The California State Parks Foundation, California State Parks, and Save the Redwoods League are inviting all Californians to visit a state park FOR FREE on Friday, November 25, the day after Thanksgiving.
Dubbed Green Friday, a total of 13,000 day-use free passes will be issued at 116 parks statewide. Passes are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Check out a list of all the parks celebrating Green Friday, and don't forget to reserve your free pass in advance.
