La Cocina's San Francisco Street Food Festival

State Bird Provisions Book Party

Michelin-starred, James Beard Award-Winning State Bird Provisions is releasing its long-awaited cookbook on October 24th; and they're celebrating the best way they know how, with a party with plenty of food. CUESA's Sunday Supper: A Farm to City Feast

CUESA'S 15th Annual Sunday Supper takes place this Sunday. The important gala fundraiser brings together the Bay Area food community for a special night at the Ferry Building featuring food from 35 top chefs including Rachel Aronow from The Alembic, Brett Cooper from Aster, Kim Alter from Nightbird, Melissa Perello from Frances, Mourad Lahlou from Mourad, and more. Alba Ray's Does Brunch

Alba Ray's, the NOLA-inspired eatery on Mission Street, is starting a new brunch service. From the team behind Causwells and Popsons, they'll have everything you'd expect from a cajun restaurant: shrimp remoulade with a poached egg and hollandaise, char-grilled Fanny Bay oysters, crawfish omelette, a crispy shrimp po'boy, and of course, beignets with salted caramel sauce. Eat Like a Chef, Drink Like a Somm

Stones Throw's monthly dinner series, Eat Like a Chef, Drink Like a Somm, has announced the next two chefs for the October and November dinners: L.A.'s James Beard Outstanding Chef Nancy Silverton (Osteria Mozza and Pizzeria Mozza) and SF's very own Top Chef Master Chris Cosentino (Cockscomb, Acacia House).
